Sometimes we all Just need to enjoy the Day

I don't really have anything great or enlightened to write about in this piece.  It's a beautiful day, already cleaned out the SUV, and if the boat wasn't put up for the winter it would be great to cruise the lake.  That is the point of this blog.

Sometimes you just need to relax and chill.  Everyday doesn't have to be the grind.  I like lemonade on the porch and listening to music.  Cruising nowhere and anywhere is a real treat when you have nothing to do.  Some people might say you are just wasting gas.  I'm never wasting gas when I am having a good ole clean time.  Life happens fast enough so sometimes I need to slow it all down and realize that time will keep ticking.  Don't those pancakes look good!

Shoot I could get the grill started on a winter day!  It's just a day to marvel at how beautiful life can be and how beautiful God made the world.  Draw night to God ye sinners is not a bad thing at all.  He will purify our hearts.

Some people might think that is a harsh thing to say but it really isn't.  When your friend, or kid does something wrong, you want then to come to you and get even closer so they don't do it again.  You protect and encourage the one you love.  You want the best for them.  Today as I chill, I recognize the best that God has to offer.  Like Mary and Martha, sometimes we have to just put it all down and recognize God is in our midst.

So, today is national chill day.  Not really, but it can be any day you make it.  Relax and refresh. My word of encouragement for everyone today is to chill out, there will be plenty of problems in life.
