The Doors Open for You are Just for You

I have been away from the editor desk for a little bit as you may know.  LOL  That sounds so professional but the truth is that sometimes life just gets busy.  Right now I have math homework, laundry, meeting preparation, and trip preparation, all while living life.  Sometimes the days really seem shorter!

However, since I will be brief, I was thinking about my God-Mother the other day, and her way of saying what is for you is for you.  The liberal heart deviseth liberal things, the bible declares.  Also, God loves a cheerful giver.  Giving is something special in our human existence.  We share our time, thoughts, money, abilities, gifts, and the big one is that we share our love.  Those are some examples of ways we can give, but not all of the things right.

Yet, even if we want to give the shirt off of our back, there are times in life when something is just for you.  For instance, when you get a gift it is yours. Yes it can be shared, but all of us know that there are some gifts that are just for you.  True?  A kiss from someone that is just for you that expresses a bond unique between two individuals.  A fraternal handshake amongst college brothers that is just for that group.  A job offer that you have been recognized for, or an award that is just for you.  

A man's gift makes room for him.  Biblical saying right.  If you look at the phrase there is a peculiar message in it.  Did you notice that it said nothing about how hard you work, how special you were, how connected you were, and on and on if you catch the point.  Sometimes God opens doors for you that only you are meant to walk through.  That my friend is a door open just for you.  It's not a deserving issue, but a chosen by special grace.  Another word for gift is favor.  Or think about unmerited favor.

When you have a door that opens for you that you didn't think would or didn't know how to open yourself, that is a door open just for you.  In life there will be many doors that open.  Some you may walk through, some you may walk past.  If I could encourage you to know one thing:  Some doors are just for you, and if they open, then God will give you everything you need to walk through and prosper!  I wish that all men may prosper and walk in the truth that the blessing of God may run after them.  Isn't that something... ...blessings are so plentiful in your life that they are RUNNING AFTER you trying to bless you!

"I know that I don't deserve many things in life by life's standards, so I am learning to accept the favor of others, and be humble enough to walk through the doors open just for me in this life.  Life is about more than me."
