Be appreciative and make the most of life.

I know that life isn’t the same for all people.  The old saying that life isn’t fair is true.  Many things happen along the journey.  The most important thing that you must remember is that YOU are always there along the way.

When we look around and we see the fortunes of our life and others it is easy to compare and compete.  I would say compete with yourself and see if you can amaze yourself.  Let’s see, you are healthy and born that way.  Is it fair for the person born without arms to be on the same playing field but you have arms.  What about the person born into poverty in another country that will never see the good you will in life.

I know that we can think of many examples in life where there are contrasting fortunes.  The point is that if you have the breath to move about, then make the most of it.  Appreciate this gift called “life.”  As the saying the Bible goes, “In Him we live, move, and have our being.”  God has given u all things that pertain to life and godliness and he wants us to prosper even as out souls prosper.

Today may not be the day you want it to be, but if you keep having a today, appreciate it.  Choose to say that I can make something of my life, even if it is a small thing.  Nevertheless, it is your life and that has immense value.  You have already won my winner friends!
