Fly Above Your Clouds

Life is a wonderful experience.  Yes, I know that there are many injustices in the world, but the experience we call life is pretty awesome.  The bible says the poor will always be with us this side of heaven.  Poor would include in heart, health, money, property, character, education, status, and more.  I was thinking the other day about what life looks like through someone else's eyes.  What goes on in their minds and hearts?

I can't even imagine what makes us all tick.  Like when someone is reacting, there is a life of actions and reactions, and events that happened prior to that.  When someone says I feel so unloved or alone.  Do you understand the thought alone is incredible?

Knowing someone is one of the most beautiful of life experiences we will ever have.  

People are beautiful even in this tainted world.

So fly above the clouds of what ever life brings.  Easier said that done.  I know.  Set your affections on the things above.  It is so easy to get drawn into the fight for everything in life.  I am not saying not to utilize the time wisely.  No not at all.  What I am saying is that the attitude of your mind can take you higher than the attitude of your sights.

Truly we walk by faith and not by sight.  God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Yes!  When you sit in your chair, you don't think about it.  You have faith that it works.  Well faith has an object, the belief that the designer, architect, constructor, and transporter all did their job.  Trust me, we all do it.  When you jump in a pool, you don't think about "if" the maintenance man correctly balanced the pH levels.  You don't for a minute buy a new car, and expect it to break down when you pull off the lot.  You're exhibiting faith whether you agree or not.

Faith affects the way we live.  The attitude of your mind can cause you to soar higher than the attitude of your sight.  On the way home from Washington DC, the pilot flew the plane almost into space it seemed. LOL.  Yet, as I looked out the window, and realized we were above the cloud layer, I thought, "all the problems were beneath us."  The pilot flew us above all the weather and disturbances.  Isn't that life-like?

Sometimes we have to remember to fly above the clouds, and the next thing we know, we are at our destination.  We all have a great pilot that can take us to heights unknown.  I trust the pilot of my life, even though I am nowhere near perfect.

Let your attitude about life, take you above the clouds of life.  Fly above the clouds my friends.
