The Beautiful Game

 The beautiful Game is often the term used for Soccer or Futbol around the world.  It is a game played by millions and watched by billions!  I think the term is precisely what should be used because when you watch the game, to see the rollercoaster of emotions that it can cause is scintillating. 

In a sense it is really like life.  Life, we all wish was this constant buildup of euphoria, filled with wonderful deeds, and triumphs, but alas it is not.  We scale mountains only to slide back down the very same ones sometimes.  There are injustices or bad calls that make our hearts fill with anger or cry out for empathy.  We exult in seeing life's ambitions come to fruition.  We have tears of joy when relief comes from out of nowhere. We embrace and support each other in our losses, mistakes, and triumphs.

It is amazing that I am talking about life, and all that can be learned from watching The Beautiful Game.  Yet, when you watch a game, you see all of this and more, and cannot help but reflect on your life and the world around you and see how truly Beautiful it is.

Life truly is The Beautiful Game, and we all are fortunate to appreciate it!
