Only Quality People

I have been looking at life from another perspective.  Obviously, I live in another state - Texas.  Personally, I think it is a better fit for me.  They say that we are the embodiment of the circle we have around us.  Most of the time I find myself alone.

I think that one statement that encourages me lately is - Only Quality People.  The reason this resonates with me so much is because evil company corrupts good habits, and if you know that you can do hasty things or make impulse decision, then your company matters.  I spend a lot of time at the lake and watch the current events.  We had a few tragic things happen recently in regard to weapons and mentally unstable people.

A thought that happens to come is how do you keep moving forward considering all that happens.  Yes, we are resilient people, and in reality, we are immune to many things in life, with a lot of that because of indifference.  People are dying every day, but we are not mourning every day.  This is a fact of life.  We are interconnected but consciously separate at the same time.  I suppose that is why friendship matters and the biblical advice to weep with those who weep.  If only life was filled with only good things and nothing harmful ever happened.

This is the condition we live in yet hope springs eternal and one day as He says I will make all things new.  I often look at the view as I am driving and realize how beautiful it must have been years ago.  Imagine a world without all the blemishes that it is has.  Heaven is truly a beautiful place and for those who wait for a city without walls, you can still see the beauty of life happening even when at times you wonder.
